Benjamin Dy will not run against Padaca for Governor

Benjamin Dy has decided not to run for Governor of Isabela in spite of winning in the election protest he filed before the COMELEC against Grace Padaca.  He instead has filed his candidacy for Mayor of Cauayan City, in the Province of Isabela.
Dy said the his camp is still waiting for the writ of execution coming from the 2^nd Division of the COMELEC for him to be able to assume office and serve as Governor for the remainder of his term.  Meanwhile, another Dy, this time, Faustino “Bogie” Dy, incumbent representative of the 3^rd Congressional District of Isabela will be challenging Padaca in the Gubernatorial race.
