February 22 was declared as special holiday for schools which means that there will be no classes in all public and private schools to commemorate the 24th anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution. It will be a regular working day for government and private offices.
While EDSA Revolution is usually celebrated on February 25, this year as Pres. Arroyo issued Proclamation 1841 last July 2009, all regular and special holidays are moved to the nearest Monday.
