Google’s gmail is now entering into a social-networking realm by adding features native to Facebook and Twitter via its new email service called “Google Buzz”. During a launch in Mountain View, California, Google Buzz manager Todd Jackson said the service begins on Tuesday to provide “an entirely new world in Gmail.”
With the new features, Gmail users can now update their status, get updates about what friends are doing online, share videos, photos and send short messages like that of Twitter. Said features are available even on smartphones to enable real-time updates.
