The supposedly superfight between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been put to a hilt – for good. That is according to Bob Arum, Top Rank promoter who handles Pacquiao, after he was informed last Wednesday by US retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein of Santa Monica who acted as the mediator between the two world-class fighters.
Arum said in an interview with Los Angeles Times that “Mayweather never wanted” the fight and he has found a way out of the fight by his unreasonable demand for random blood-testing. Pacquiao apologized to his fans thru Mike Koncz for not being able to give them what could have been the greatest fight of all time.
