Meralco consumers will see a slight decrease in their bill this January despite an increase of P1.4917/kwh for distribution, supply and metering charges being implemented by the company. A net cut is affected by lowering of the Power Acquisition Cost by the electric giant.
By computation, customers who consume up to 200kwh will see around P18.90 cut in their bill while those who consume 300kwh a month get P28.35. P47.80 less will be given to those who consume more than 400kwh.
