Black Nazarene Procession ends with 2 casualties



The Black Nazarene finally reached Quiapo Church shortly before midnight yesterday, a grueling 15 hours of procession with an estimate of at least 2 million devotees attended, according to PNP Chief Superintendent Rodolfo Magtibay.  At least two devotees died yesterday, they were Rodrigo Ocampo, 42 and Bernardo Basilio, 40.
Ocampo was brought to Ospital ng Maynila due to cardiac arrest while Basilio at Jose Reyes Hospital for multiple injuries.  Philippine National Red Cross has provided first aid treatment to more than 400 devotees, according to PNRC Chief Richard Gordon.
