Tropang Texters of team Talk and text walked out towards the end of first quarter after power forward Ranidel De Ocampo was called for a Flagrant Foul 2 on Ronald Tubid when the latter was hit on the face with De Ocampo's elbow. Said walk out resulted in a winning by forfeiture in favor of Ginebra which ties the team standing to 2 - 2 of KFC-PBA Philippine Cup quarter final series.
The score was 27-20 in favor of Ginebra when the incident happened. Talk and Text coach Chot Reyes called his players to the dugout after the game officials called the flagrant foul. Because of this, Talk and text is facing at least P500,000 fine. Reyes said that they will be submitting a protest for "unfair officiating".
