World Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao filed his lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather, Sr., Mayweather Jr. and Roger Mayweather for allegedly defaming his reputation by saying he was taking PEDs or Performance Enhancing Drugs which includes steroids. The case was filed last December 31, Manila time in Las Vegas Federal Court by well-known lawyer Daniel Petrocelli
Also named as defendants to the case were Golden Boy Promotions’ Oscar dela Hoya and Richard Shcaefer. Pacquiao has asked for damages in excess of US$ 75,000.00 which is the minimum amount needed to sue in court. By this developments, the scheduled fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather in March dims.
